Our pet poo composting systems need soil access for installation. But, anything is paw-ssible! Have a friendly neighbour with a garden or live in a unit block with a shared garden? Have a chat with others about installing a shared pet poo composting system such as the EnsoPet Poo Composter.

We still have some great options for your food waste! Check out our recommendations below.

The Farm

The Farm is our compact and customisable entry-level worm farm. Suitable for composting up to 2L of food scraps per week (or 3L with an extra working tray), the Farm is suited for smaller households with gardens or balconies.

Maintenance

  • Installation: Simple set-up, get started in minutes!

  • Use: Add your food scraps and worms will do the rest! Worm wee is collected through a continuous flow system while worm castings need to be harvested a few times a year. You will need to keep an eye on the conditions to keep your worms happy: Check out our worm farming tutorial for more information.

Cost

  • Australia-wide: $89.90 (RRP = $110.00)

  • Council discount: See if your council provides a further discount by entering your address at the homepage

If the Farm isn't the right fit for you, take a look at our Bokashi bins. Keep in mind, once fermented, you will need to bury your Bokashi scraps or add them to a compost bin. If you don't have these options available, make sure to check with a local community garden or ShareWaste to see if there are local composters that you can donate your scraps to.

Find our range of Bokashi bins on our product page.
